Program Structure
Week 1: Administrative meeting and introduction lecture
Week 2: Teach members how to evaluate technology based on technical design analysis (design quality and technical feasibility)
Week 3: Teach members how to evaluate technology based on intellectual property (prior art, intrusions upon other patents, major claims)
Week 4: Teach members how to evaluate technology based on market analysis (size, presence, need, competition)
Week 5: Bring everything together via case study approach
Final Week (Week 7 or 8): Final presentation to the panel of judges
